Join Art Teacher Jenette for the Ballarat East Neighbourhood House Monday Drawing Group

Come along each week and work on art projects guided by Art Teacher, Jenette. Please bring along your own art supplies, food and drink. There is access to tea and coffee supplies in the kitchen at Eureka Hall.

Drawing Group is scheduled to meet at Eureka Hall, Stawell Street South, Eureka, on these Mondays in 2022 from 1.00 pm - 3.00 pm:

Cost and Registration

Drawing Group costs $10 per person per session. Please pay cash on the day. If possible, please bring the correct change to minimise money handling.

Registration is required as there is a limit of 10 people for this activity. Payment will be collected at the start of each session. Please contact us to book your space and complete a paper registration form in your first class.

To register, please contact the Ballarat East Neighbourhood House team. We are available during school term, 9.00 am - 5.00 pm Tuesdays to Fridays. 

About Eureka Hall

Access to the Hall will be available from 5 minutes before the Drawing Group starts. 

Location & getting there

Drawing Group is held in the smaller (north) room at Eureka Hall (104 Stawell Street South, Ballarat East). Please enter via the door on the Eureka Pool side of the Hall. If you are not able to access the Hall via this door due to the steps, Jenette will be able to open the door on the eastern side (Stawell Street South) for you.

Walking: The entrance for Eureka Hall's small hall is on the Eureka Pool side of the building.
Driving: You can park in the car park between Eureka Hall and the Eureka Pool, entry from Stawell Street South.
Bus: Catch either the Ballarat-Canadian Bus (Route 20) and hop off at Stop 35385 (Kline Street/Eureka Street) or the Ballarat-Brown Hill Bus (Route 15) and hop off at Stop 35379 (Eureka Stockade Memorial Park/Eureka Street). Walk along Stawell Street South to Eureka Hall.
Bicycle: Please secure your bicycle outside Eureka Hall.

Public toilets are available adjacent to Eureka Hall. There are no toilets inside the building.

Conditions of participation

  • Please read the Ballarat East Neighbourhood House Activity Terms and Conditions. You will be asked to agree to these upon registration for this class.
  • All participants in Ballarat East Neighbourhood House activities must follow the current Statewide COVID-Safe principles.
  • If you are feeling unwell and/or have cold/flu symptoms please do not come to the activity.
  • Please sanitise your hands upon entry to and exit from Eureka Hall. Hand sanitiser will be available.
  • Keep at least 1.5 metres from other people in the activity.
  • Bring your own drink bottle and food. The cafe at the Eureka Centre (down the hill) should be open by mid-May if you would like to purchase hot drinks and food.
  • Arrive 5-10 minutes before the activity starts to allow time to complete any paperwork.
  • If you have any injuries or issues which may affect your ability to partipate fully in the activity, please arrive early and discuss with Jenette.
  • Turn off your phone/digital devices and store your possessions in the room.
  • A maximum of 10 participants will be able to take part in this activity.
  • Tickets are not transferable.
