On 16 July 2021, the Ballarat East Neighbourhood House was registered as a Charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).

2024 Summary of Activities
In 2024, the Ballarat East Neighbourhood House worked with our local community to meet our purpose of advancing mental health and preventing social isolation by providing a physical location where we support individuals to undertake activities, or work on projects, in the company of others.
We provided opportunities for social connection through a range of regular, low-cost activities and groups, various volunteering roles, adult education, training opportunities, community group support and more.
During 2024, we ran a range of activities supporting social connection, including:
Community Connection: Chatty Wednesdays, Newsletter Delivery, Let's Talk Rubbish Social Group, Climate Cafe, Book Group, Crafternoon, Community Auslan Practice Group and Community Auslan "Voice Off" Practice Group, Waterwatch Victoria engagement and Playgroup with the Ballarat Toy Library.
Art and Craft: Watercolour, Drawing Group, Sewing, Winter Woollies
Movement: Gentle Yoga, Alexander Technique, Hypnotherapy-Meditation and Walking Group
Adult Education: Community Auslan, Digital Literacy Skills, Writing Skills and Road Safety.
Our team also supported members of the local community during 2024, though free programs such as supporting local Community Groups with skills to improve how they run their organisations (in partnership with the City of Ballarat).
