Our Ballarat East Neighbourhood House office is open Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm, and additionally until 5.00 pm Tuesdays, during school terms.

Our office is managed by a small team of staff and volunteers, including students on placement. We recommend making an appointment by phone or email.

How to get to Ballarat East Neighbourhood House - Office and Community Rooms #102 and #103:

Opening hours: During school terms our office is open Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm and additionally until 5.00 pm on Tuesdays. We are closed over the Victorian school holidays.
Due to small staff numbers, we may not always be available to meet with you. We suggest making an appointment by phone or email before visiting.
There are two entrances to Barkly Square:
(1) Main Entrance, Barkly Street via a ramp. This is where you will find the Barkly Square Main Reception managed by BGT (Ballarat Group Training) who are the lead tenants and site managers at Barkly Square. This entrance is closest to the Ballarat East Neighbourhood House office and community rooms. If you walk straight ahead from this main entrance you will find our office and community rooms on the right.
(2) Rear Entrance, accessed via a second ramp from Barkly Street, or from a laneway leading up from the Princes Street South car park. This entrance is next to the Our Kitchen Social Cafe. From this entrance, walk straight ahead down the corridor and then turn right to find our community rooms and office.
To get to Barkly Square:
Walking: There are footpaths to both of the entrances to Barkly Square, with ramps to the Barkly Street entrance, and to the courtyard to access the rear entrance.
Driving: You can park on Barkly Street, or behind the building in the car park or on the street along Princes Street South. You can access Princes Street South from Eureka Street or Barkly Street. There is a second overflow car park a little further south on Princes Street South if the first car park is full. There are several accessible car parking spots closer to the building if you drive up the laneway accessed from the first Princes Street South carp park.
Bus: There is a bus stop close to Barkly Square: Route 20, near the corner of Barkly Street and Main Road, or we are a short walk from the Little Bridge or Curtis Street bus stops.
Bicycle: There is bike parking available at Barkly Square.
Public toilets are available within Barkly Square.
